About the Role:

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join our Head Office team. You will take ownership of monthly accounts, deliver insightful financial analysis, and provide business partnering support across a variety of departments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Produce monthly management accounts, including reconciliations and departmental reporting
  • Carry out variance analysis with commentary on performance by department, region, and project
  • Act as Business Partner for Head Office cost centres, including planning and cost reviews
  • Ensure balance sheet items and loan balances are reconciled accurately and on time
  • Oversee group recharges, loans, and compliance with IFRS9/transfer pricing rules
  • Manage VAT returns and coordinate with external tax specialists
  • Support consistent accounting treatment for benefits and investments
  • Assist with group reporting, relief adjustments, and dividend processes
  • Help improve and document finance processes
  • Contribute to wider projects as needed

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years' experience in a finance role
  • Background in private equity, acquisitive, or professional services businesses is desirable
  • Strong communication skills, able to engage with senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to deliver to deadlines and improve processes
  • Strong Excel and general MS Office ability
