WATER MONITORING ENGINEER

Urban Environments Ltd is a rapidly growing Water Hygiene Consultancy and due to their success has several exciting opportunities to join the team in the following areas:

Isle of Wight, Hampshire, Arun, Brighton & along the south coast.

The Water Hygiene Technician will be required visit various properties/buildings to monitor hot and cold water systems therefore a clean FULL UK Driving Licence is essential. Work will be scheduled across a range of properties including social and sheltered housing, hospitals, care homes and public buildings. A knowledge of water hygiene is preferable although full training will be given to the right candidate.

DUTIES INCLUDE

  • Temperature taking and monitoring of hot and cold-water systems
  • Microbiological samples for analysis
  • Cold water tank inspections / surveys
  • Carrying our Water Hygiene Risk Assessments

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Previous water hygiene experience advantageous but not essential as full training given
  • Experience in conducting microbiological sampling preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner
  • Able to work to own initiative as well as in a team

REQUIREMENTS

  • FULL UK Driving licence
  • To undergo Enhanced DBS check as part of Company's terms of employment

Position: Full-time, Permanent (Mon-Fri)

Company Package includes: Company Vehicle (Van), Company Pension Scheme

20 Days Holiday per annum + Bank Holidays + Birthday Holiday after 6 month Probation.

Starting Salary: Starting from £26,000 per Annum (according to experience)

Experience:

  • Legionella: 1 year (preferred)
  • TMV Servicing: 1 year (preferred)
