Role SummaryAs Marketing Planning Manager, you'll play a key role in leading Anthropologie's brand campaign planning across Europe, with a particular focus on 360 marketing campaigns, retail and trade marketing and project management. Supporting teams across Brand Marketing, Creative, Digital Marketing and Retail, you will lead the planning and delivery of standout omni-channel campaigns activated across in-store, owned, earned and paid channels. You'll also set-up efficient ways of working and communicating across department and be a key marketing contact across the business.
What You'll Be DoingCampaign Project Management:
- Take the lead on marketing campaigns and activations, project managing from concept to delivery, working with Brand & Creative, Digital, Product and Retail teams to scope requirements, plan deliverables, manage budgets and deliver campaigns on time
- Own the brand marketing calendar, working closely with US & EU colleagues to align global campaign messaging amplification, and identify and communicate EU-only messages
- Support the Brand Executive on campaign briefing, ensuring cross-departmental briefs are clear and completed by all departments
- Track creative and channel deliverables using project management tools, keeping stakeholders updated on key milestones and actions
- Lead post-campaign reporting and analysis, creating weekly, monthly and quarterly tracking against key metrics, working across teams to collate and present results and learnings to wider teams
Retail & Trade Marketing:
- Assist the Senior Brand Marketing Manager to brief and deliver all in-store POS
- Contribute to the successful launch and ongoing marketing of new Anthropologie stores, helping to develop opening plans and overseeing execution of planned activity
- Work with Retail and Digital teams to plan promotional messaging into the marketing calendar, capture Creative requirements and brief Creative teams
Planning Processes:
- Create ongoing efficiencies and review ways of working across teams to more effectively plan and manage marketing processes and communication
- Input into monthly and campaign Budget planning and tracking alongside Brand, Influencer, Social, and PR teams, reviewing regularly with the Marketing Director and Finance team
- Own regular planning meetings, campaign kick-offs & channel alignments, and support channel teams on their planning
- Onboard Brand & Creative teams onto a new project management tool, and set up campaign planning functionality
- A proactive, positive and energetic attitude, you're someone who gets stuck in, solves problems quickly, and brings ideas to the table with enthusiasm
- Experience in Marketing Project Management or Brand Marketing ideally in Retail (either in-house or agency) with a strong knowledge of 360 campaign planning processes and deliverables
- Demonstrable experience in planning and delivering 360 brand awareness and performance-driven campaigns, partnerships, and experiential activations
- Highly-organised with strong planning and process optimisation skills, and the ability to be flexible, juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines and stay calm under pressure
- Strong experience tracking, analysing and reporting on both digital and physical activations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident at communicating with senior stakeholders and with across global teams, and the ability to build rapport quickly both internally and externally
- Digitally confident, with strong working knowledge of Google and Microsoft office tools, as well as project planning tools such as Asana, Trello and Figma
- Strong understanding of performance and results tracking, and familiarity with performance-tracking tools, both native metrics and 3rd-party platforms
- Creative and commercially aware, always thinking about how to drive awareness and impact for the brand
- Ability to recognise and ensure activations are on-brand and of the high creative standard our customers expect of Anthropologie, aligning with the global brand identity
