Roco 9 Is recruiting for a Team Leader with previous crushing and screening experience. They will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on a Production Line, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and leading a team to achieve production goals.

Operational and technical duties

  • Production Management: Managing an Assembly line to ensure consistent production and a high-quality product.
  • Targets: Planning Labour around Targets set, raising any shortfalls to Management.
  • Quality control: Making sure company Quality standards are followed and met.
  • Equipment maintenance: Oversee routine maintenance activities, such as cleaning and lubrication, and troubleshoot and repair equipment when necessary.
  • Reporting: Report issues, equipment performance data, and required maintenance to management in a timely manner.
  • Fitting: Providing Support to the fitting team when needed.
  • Overtime: When needing doing extra hours to support Production Needs.

Leadership and team management

  • Team leadership: Supervise and guide the team to ensure all tasks are performed safely and efficiently.
  • Training Plans: Ensuring new Starts are following training plans set by Management.
  • Communication: Maintain clear communication with team members, and other departments.
  • Resource management: Organize and use team resources (time, skills, equipment) to complete tasks effectively.

Safety and compliance

  • Safety enforcement: Ensure all team members comply with health and safety regulations, perform risk assessments, and implement lock-out/tag-out procedures when needed.
  • Environmental compliance: Monitor and report on environmental issues, such as silica dust emissions, and ensure operations comply with environmental regulations.
  • Record keeping: Complete and maintain all necessary paperwork and daily logs, including quality assurance checklists.

Requirements

  • Previous Experience with Excel sheets, recording hours/shortages etc.
  • Previous experience in assembly work within the Screening and Crushing Industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
