The Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West will open its doors on the 1st of August, so come and be a part of the buzz and excitement before the opening In a former office building, constructors are working very hard to transform it into a stunning and unique hotel with 476 rooms and 20 meeting rooms with a capacity of up to 1000 guests, all designed by Karim Rashid. The colourful hotel will be part of the VEN complex, which means the building will be shared with Holland Casino, a Wellness and apartments of B-Apart. Curious? Have a look

This is what you will be doing:

  • Ensuring the highest level of cleanliness in our 476 guestrooms
  • Operationally responsible for guestrooms, directly reporting to the Facility Manager
  • Directly coaching & leading a team of 5 Floor Supervisors
  • Active involvement in the departmental training program as well as delivering on the job trainings
  • Responsible for mid-year and annual reviews as part of overall performance management
  • Responsible for the smooth running of the linen room and uniform room
  • Keeping the fun factor alive, as this is what keeps our staff (a.k.a. Happy Makers) going in a physically challenging job
  • Setting-up a great relationship with Front Office and other departments from the start

What you bring to the table:

  • You have a hands-on mentality
  • You have a minimum of 2 years' experience in leading a Housekeeping supervisor team
  • Experience with PMS is required, with Opera preferred
  • You are passionate about Housekeeping & cleanliness in general
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbally and written; Dutch would be a bonus
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to train and motivate a multicultural team
  • You understand that a hotel opening is a lot of hard work, but also a lot of fun
  • You are looking for a fulltime job
