With a diverse and dedicated year-round team of around 150 volunteers, we orchestrate Pride in London, the incredible event that unites us all. Your unique voice can contribute to the symphony

This is a great role for anyone that is interested in the world of events and wants to either gain more experience or get some live experience in the run up and on site at an event.

Working with the Stage Lead you will help collate all information prior to the day and then ensure all process take place on the day of the event.

You need to be a team player and adaptable under pressure to help ensure the stage runs smoothly and all artist requirements are met.

The Stages Team is responsible for delivering an authoritative, inclusive diverse production across currently 4 sites on the day of Pride in London, Leicester Square, Dean Street, Golden Square, Trafalgar Square including when required additional talent support to Family Area.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collection, monitoring and recording of alls stage content from artist. This includes tracks, lyrics, production requirements and any other relevant information. This is mainly email based and requires requesting and then recording all data as it is sent in.
  • Chasing any outstanding content and flagging when necessary
  • Regular, scheduled meetings with the stage lead to understand the status of the stage
  • Role model for Pride in London's values and behaviours
  • You must be free to work on the day of Pride in London
  • Ensure that production is in the interests of the LGBT+ community and meet with diversity and inclusion
  • Maintain high levels awareness surrounding current threats and challenges toward the LGBT+ Community - advises directors of risks and potential mitigation

What You'll Bring To Pride In London

  • Interest in or experience with events industry - seeking or building experience in live event production and stage management
  • Strong organisational skills - ability to collect, monitor and record artist content via email efficiently
  • Team player mentality - adaptable under pressure and willing to support the Stage Lead and wider team
  • Available on Pride in London event day (mandatory requirement)
  • Commitment to LGBT+ inclusion - understanding of community values and diversity priorities
  • Proactive communicator - comfortable chasing outstanding information and flagging issues when necessary
