Role Overview
We are recruiting a commercially-minded Senior Sales Manager to lead Corporate & Brand Activations across Night Group venues. This role will oversee two sales team members — one driving small group bookings and venue/space hires, and one supporting the corporate sales pipeline while managing promoter-led events.
You will hold strategic oversight of the entire pre-booked sales function, working closely with the Marketing, the Head of Music, and the Programming team to ensure all commercial activity is fully aligned with the events calendar and business priorities.
This role blends leadership, forecasting, corporate sales, process improvement, and relationship management, making it a critical pillar of Night Group's commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Department Oversight
- Manage and guide two sales team members:
- Senior Sales Executive – Groups & Experiences
- Responsible for small group bookings, venue/space hires, upselling, and driving spend per head.
- Sales Manager – Promoters & Corporate Support
- Supports corporate sales activity and manages promoter relationships, promoter events, and smaller table bookings.
- Provide coaching, direction, and development pathways for the team to improve performance and hit targets.
- Lead weekly pipeline reviews, setting priorities and helping team members manage workloads effectively.
- Ensure all enquiries (corporate, promoter, groups, and space hires) are handled professionally and promptly.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with the
Head of Music
and
Programming Team
to maintain full visibility of all events taking place across the venues. - Ensure the sales team uses programming information to drive bookings, shape outreach, and maximise pre-booked revenue.
- Collaborate with marketing to deliver aligned campaigns, corporate mailers, and promotional pushes tied to the events calendar.
Corporate Sales & Business Development
- Drive high-value exclusive hires, corporate events, and branded activations.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of corporate enquiries and opportunities.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to ensure pricing, positioning, and package structures remain competitive.
- Identify new avenues for growth, including partnerships, new industries, and expansion into off-peak revenue opportunities.
Reporting, Forecasting & Performance
- Own sales forecasting, revenue tracking, and reporting for Directors and Finance.
- Provide clear weekly updates on pipeline activity, conversion, and performance versus target.
- Implement structured reporting frameworks across the team for consistent tracking and accountability.
Package, Product & Brand Oversight
- Ensure all corporate packages, POS materials, decks, and collateral are current and commercially optimised.
- Maintain accuracy of the website and booking platforms for all corporate and event-related information.
- Work with marketing on continuous improvement of how Night Group presents its spaces to the market.
Relationship Building & Brand Representation
- Build and nurture strong commercial relationships with corporate clients, brand partners, and agencies.
- Attend industry events, networking sessions, and showcases to raise brand awareness and generate leads.
- Serve as a confident external ambassador for Night Group's spaces and offering.
