Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to shipping, receiving, handling returns and inventory management. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Order Fulfilment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensuring aisles and storage areas are free from obstructions.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as required.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents to management.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with basic administrative tasks, including data entry and filing, as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff and departments to achieve operational goals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes is beneficial.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to [specific weight]) and perform physical tasks.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and management of daily returns.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Forklift certification [if required].
