This vacancy is for a Personal Assistant to Chief Officers working within the Force Executive Office at Police Headquarters, Wymondham.

Norfolk's Force Executive are looking for an experienced and committed Personal Assistant to join the team, to provide support and diary management to the Chief Officers in their local and national roles, and the wider Command Team.

You will be required to coordinate and manage diaries, to prioritise the workload of the Chief Officers. Your role will involve facilitating the functioning of meetings, completing minutes, actions and other related administration tasks. You will need to have the ability to multi-task and a flexible approach to your work, liaising with all internal and external departments and agencies. An ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines will be essential.

In addition, working within the Force Executive office, you will be required to support in the planning and engagement of Constabulary events and award ceremonies.

It is essential that applicants meet the following criteria:

  • Significant experience int he role of a PA/EA, with secretarial and administrative experience.
  • Good keyboard skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrates an ability to compile reports
  • Demonstrates an ability to work to tight timescales
  • Demonstrates an ability to prioritise work
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as a team.
  • Demonstrates a detailed knowledge of the Norfolk Constabulary organisational structure

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,897.00-£34,662.00 per year
