We are an expanding Chartered Architectural Practice with a Head Office in Lewes with over 30 years of experience delivering projects throughout the country mainly working with corporate clients in the Hotel sector.
This position will be based in our Head Office, we also have offices in London and Exeter.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join our team in the Lewes Office in the South East. The position will primarily focus on facade remediation projects across various residential and commercial buildings throughout the UK, along with new build hotel & residential developments.
The role requires you to:
- Assist in designing and detailing remediation works in compliance with the latest building safety regulations and fire performance standards.
- Prepare high-quality technical drawings and specifications for façade and cladding remediation.
- Work closely with contractors, façade consultants, fire engineers and clients throughout the project at all RIBA stages.
Experience:
- BSc in Architectural Technology.
- Minimum 3 years' post qualification experience in a technical architectural role. Experience with cladding or façade systems would be an advantage
- Experience in Vectorworks is preferable, but knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit will also be considered
- Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and fire safety compliance.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
