Our volunteer crew bring expert care on board our two hospital ships. Sixteen Mercy Ships offices around the world collaborate on fundraising, recruitment and public relations.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Individual Giving Officer located in Stevenage, with some work from home allowed. The Individual Giving Officer will oversee planned giving, annual giving, stewardship, philanthropy, and fundraising efforts. Duties include managing donor relationships, developing and executing fundraising plans, organising events, and ensuring effective communication with donors.

Qualifications

  • Experience in individual giving and legacy fundraising.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • A positive, intuitive learner with a willingness to take initiative and a practical, can-do approach

Contract

  • Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours a week) with hybrid working.
