Role Description

We are looking for a Head of Production / Production Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of our digital productions, ensuring projects run smoothly, on budget, and to the highest creative standards.

You will be the operational backbone of Gold Studios' content output. Working closely with the team, you'll manage schedules, resources, and budgets across multiple productions — from short-form digital videos, podcasts to live broadcasts and original documentaries.

You will thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment, keeping projects on track while supporting the team in delivering innovative sports content.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee production schedules, workflows, and resourcing across Gold Studios content.
  • Manage budgets, track expenses, and negotiate with suppliers/freelancers to deliver cost-effective productions.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, risk assessments, and safeguarding policies.
  • Liaise between creative teams, talent, and external partners to maintain smooth communication.
  • Oversee post-production timelines and delivery to platforms.
  • Troubleshoot production challenges and maintain efficient problem-solving under pressure.
  • Maintain Gold Studios' high production standards, ensuring content is on-brand, engaging, and platform-optimized.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience as a Head of Production / Production Manager (TV, digital, or sports media).
  • Strong understanding of digital-first content, including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and live streaming.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills — able to juggle multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of production budgeting and financial management.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead teams under tight deadlines with a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Passion for sports and familiarity with sports culture and fan communities.
