Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues.

We are a family run business specialising in wetbelts the ideal person would be happy to work alongside us replacing wetbelts in vehicles and rebuilding engines in line with this there will be routine services and not work

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical problems.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
