Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Customer Sales Assistant to represent leading UK charities in face-to-face campaigns across Glasgow. Whether you're starting out or bringing experience, this is your chance to launch a fulfilling career in customer service and sales—while helping to change lives for the better.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Customer Sales Assistant, you'll engage directly with the public to promote and generate support for some of the UK's most respected charities. You'll work in a variety of high-footfall locations across Glasgow—including residential areas, shopping centres, train stations, high streets, and events.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Approaching and engaging with members of the public in a confident, friendly, and professional way
  • Starting genuine conversations about the causes you represent
  • Explaining each charity's mission, answering questions with clarity and empathy
  • Inspiring people to sign up as regular supporters by showing how their contribution makes an impact
  • Recording supporter details and donations accurately using a digital tablet
  • Delivering excellent customer service, ensuring every interaction is positive—even when someone chooses not to donate
  • Working towards clear daily and weekly performance targets with the support of your team
  • Taking part in daily team briefings to share goals, successes, and encouragement
  • Building valuable skills in communication, persuasion, empathy, and ethical selling
