What you will do


• Lead and manage a team of Maths and English specialists, driving excellence in teaching, learning and assessment


• Shape curriculum delivery to meet learner and employer needs, ensuring flexibility, relevance and innovation


• Drive performance across attendance, achievement and progression


• Work closely with senior leaders to align provision with the College's strategic priorities


• Champion quality through learning walks, feedback and sharing best practice


• Engage externally to support growth, partnerships and the profile of the faculty

• Proven experience of curriculum leadership and developing high-performing teams


• Strong knowledge of Maths and/or English provision for diverse learners


• A passion for innovation and improving learner outcomes


• Excellent organisational and communication skills
