Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial work and possess a keen eye for detail. Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
  • Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas to ensure hygiene standards are met
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
  • Clean windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures as required
  • Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order and report any repairs needed
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or hazards
  • Use appropriate cleaning chemicals safely and effectively
  • Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls as necessary

Skills

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices
  • Reliable with a professional attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
