Amegreen Children's Services has been established since 2013 and has a community of children's homes across rural West Berkshire and Hampshire. Our homes support children who have social, emotional and mental health needs and children who have a range of learning disabilities. All our homes are situated near small towns with access to bigger towns and close to beautiful woodland and countryside.

We're looking for a Trainer to join our Learning and Development team. In this role, you will design and deliver high-quality training courses to staff working in our residential children's homes, with a focus on safeguarding and other continuing professional development (CPD) programmes.

What you'll be doing:

  • Delivering engaging, informative, and practical training sessions
  • Supporting staff to develop their knowledge, confidence, and skills.
  • Leading on safeguarding training and contributing to a wide range of CPD courses.
  • Working closely with the Learning and Development team to meet organisational training needs.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience of working with children, young people, and families (residential or social care experience an advantage).
  • A proven track record of designing and delivering effective training.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding practice and legislation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and engage learners.
  • A commitment to promoting a culture of learning, reflection, and best practice.
