Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Caretaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This position requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic, as you will be responsible for various cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Duties

  • Perform general cleaning duties including manual labor sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in all areas.
  • Carry out routine inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs and report any issues promptly.
  • Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored correctly after use.
  • Assist with waste disposal and recycling efforts to promote sustainability within the facility.
  • Maintain records of cleaning schedules and tasks completed to ensure accountability.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure that the facility operates smoothly and efficiently.

Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Good communication skills, enabling effective interaction with team members and occupants.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks associated with cleaning duties. We invite individuals who are passionate about maintaining clean and safe environments to apply for this rewarding position as a Caretaker.

Pay: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 30 per week
