Summary

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated IT Quality & Testing Specialist to join our dynamic technology team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for quality, precision, and process improvement. You'll work closely with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure our software solutions meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts (manual and automated).

Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing across systems and platforms.

Identify, log, and track defects; work collaboratively with development teams for timely resolution.

Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes with automated testing.

Ensure compliance with QA best practices, policies, and documentation standards.

Prepare and present test reports, quality metrics, and insights to project stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing.

Strong understanding of QA methodologies, frameworks, and tools.

Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Selenium, Postman, TestRail, or Cypress.

Working knowledge of SQL, APIs, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £42,000.00-£58,462.43 per year
