The Role
The Wonder mobile app and web platform is a community app designed to help creators connect, find work, and get discovered, with a focus on filmmaking in the AI space. We're looking for a Moderator to take the lead in supporting and building this new community.
Working directly with the Head of Platform, you will help to grow and cultivate an engaged user base. This is a hands-on, founding role for a self-starter who is ready to help shape a community by actively curating top-tier talent and ensuring a thriving atmosphere.
What You'll Do
- Talent Curation & Recruitment:
Actively identify and recruit world-leading creatives and technologists to join the platform. Assist in outreach and research for recruitment of new members. Your role is to build a high-quality community and enable top talent to flourish. - Platform Leadership
: Serve as the lead voice on the platform, sharing content, links, and stories that inspire and drive engagement. You will be a key representative of Wonder, actively managing the quality of the community and engaging in posts and discussions. - Content Moderation:
Maintain the quality of the community by moderating user-generated content and posts, welcoming new members, ensuring all interactions are constructive and adhere to community guidelines. - Enterprise Moderation:
Moderate our enterprise client and creative partnership spaces and help in recommending appropriate users. - Platform Curation:
Assist with testing and advising on user flow to ensure members can navigate the platform well and find relevant content. - Content Consolidation:
Consolidate the best links, stories, and trends from existing networks and repost them in the Wonder app daily to keep the community informed and engaged.
Who We're Looking For
You are a creative and proactive individual with a deep understanding of online communities and creator culture. You are diplomatic, personable, and have a knack for sparking conversation and making people feel included.
- You are a self-starter who is comfortable taking ownership and working autonomously.
- You have a strong understanding of the creative landscape, including filmmaking, animation, and generative AI.
- You have experience as an active participant or moderator in online communities.
- You have an exceptional eye for detail and can maintain high standards of quality and organisation.
