Role Overview
Formech has been providing machinery worldwide for over 40 years. We are now seeking a friendly, reliable, and well-organised individual to join our team as a Part-Time Logistics Administrator. The successful candidate will support daily logistics operations, provide general administrative assistance, and act as a first point of contact for incoming calls.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the office.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, including preparing documentation and updating records.
- Communicate with couriers, transport companies, customers and the factory to track shipments and resolve queries.
- Answer incoming phone calls, and direct calls to the appropriate team members.
- Assist with data entry, filing, maintaining accurate shipment logs, and updating systems.
- Monitor shared email inboxes, respond promptly or escalate where required, and provide inbox "housekeeping".
- Respond to day-to-day logistics request from the team.
Requirements
- Previous experience in administration, customer service, or logistics.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident, professional and welcoming phone manner.
- Intermediate computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, data entry, etc.).
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Clean and full driving licence and own transport.
Desirable
- Familiarity with courier systems or shipping documentation.
- Second language an advantage
