Role Overview

Formech has been providing machinery worldwide for over 40 years. We are now seeking a friendly, reliable, and well-organised individual to join our team as a Part-Time Logistics Administrator. The successful candidate will support daily logistics operations, provide general administrative assistance, and act as a first point of contact for incoming calls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to the office.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, including preparing documentation and updating records.
  • Communicate with couriers, transport companies, customers and the factory to track shipments and resolve queries.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, and direct calls to the appropriate team members.
  • Assist with data entry, filing, maintaining accurate shipment logs, and updating systems.
  • Monitor shared email inboxes, respond promptly or escalate where required, and provide inbox "housekeeping".
  • Respond to day-to-day logistics request from the team.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in administration, customer service, or logistics.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confident, professional and welcoming phone manner.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, data entry, etc.).
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Clean and full driving licence and own transport.

Desirable

  • Familiarity with courier systems or shipping documentation.
  • Second language an advantage
