The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing market, business, and operational data to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. This role requires a combination of leadership experience, technical expertise, and strong communication skills to engage effectively with our diverse client base.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and data analysis on business, economic, and operational trends.
  • Translate complex data into actionable business intelligence and strategic recommendations.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify business challenges and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings to management and clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system development, operational efficiency, and business strategy.
  • Maintain awareness of industry developments, competitive landscapes, and regulatory environments in key markets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree (or higher) in Data Science, Economics, business or any relevant field with a strong statistical background.
  • Experience as an operations director, system development manager or a comparable role.
  • Fluency in English and preferably Mandarin and/ or Malay to effectively communicate with our clients and stakeholders who largely come from a Chinese and Malaysian background.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficient in statistical tools, data analysis and business intelligence platforms.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to translate data into strategic insights.
  • Strong presentation and reporting abilities.
