Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday

About the Role

The role will involve the recruitment, training and co-ordinating a team of Peer Volunteers who will target individuals at risk of discontinuing structured treatment, individuals who are new to treatment services or recently relapsed.

The coordinator also facilitates peer involvement Recovery Cities initiatives promoting progress and active participation.

What You'll Do

  • Recruit and train a team of Peer Volunteers
  • Provide supervision and coordination to the Team of volunteers
  • Help peers contact and support a range of service users in structured and unstructured treatment
  • Collaborate with the ETE Worker to support peers progression towards employment and training opportunities
  • Take the lead in supporting recovery cities initiatives in Leeds
  • Maintain a commitment to personal and professional development within the role

To Succeed in This Role, You'll Need:

  • Experience or strong interest in supporting individuals in recovery from addiction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and positive environment for recovery
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with other professionals
