Mission description

As Logistics Supervisor, you will lead a team in a dynamic environment, ensuring the efficient receipt, inspection, storage, and dispatch of components and products. You will be responsible for compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements, supporting production teams, and driving continuous improvement. What will I be doing? Team Leadership Goods Inwards Manage packing, despatch, and loading activities Stock & Materials Management Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with UK and international export regulations Scrap Management Continuous Improvement Internal Communication Business Support: Provide support across logistics functions within your competency range Performance Monitoring: Track and report on KPIs

What do I need to succeed in the role? Proven experience in a logistics supervisory or management role, within aerospace or a process-driven industry Understanding of import/export regulations would be desirable Experience with warehouse/distribution centre operations Excellent communication, organisational, and numerical skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) Ability to multi-task, prioritise workload, and work under pressure Customer-focused, conscientious, and flexible approach Commitment to Safety and continuous improvement Ability to challenge the norm and drive positive change Team player who demonstrates Accountability and Respect At Safran, we understand that diversity and inclusion make teams stronger and more effective, and as an organisation, we are committed to fair and equitable employment practices for everyone.
