Job DescriptionThis position provides leadership to the service team across the defined region, within the STL GB organisation. The focus is to execute the business plan to improve client service delivery through utilization of skills and knowledge within the regional team, and have a direct impact on our overall customer service strategy.
This role is also an integral part of the STL Great Britain organisation, aiming to drive future growth in the SBU, and align with the market.
Responsibilities
- Management of the Field Service team within your region.
- Service Call effectiveness and productivity (first time fix, jobs per day).
- Planned Maintenance effectiveness and productivity (proactive PMV management).
- Field Service Engineer productivity, location, time management and stock management.
- Identify team skill levels and training requirements in relation to individual training/cross skills and also to changes in product base/new product implementation.
- Field Health and Safety training and audits.
- Ensure revenue stream maximisation – chargeable maintenance and engineer sales leads.
- Regular key customer contact. Attend customer sites where required to lead, assure the customer, and ensure a satisfactory resolution.
- Review team activity reports and financial reports to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans if necessary.
- Evaluate performance of team for meeting and driving goals and objectives. Provide feedback to individuals in recognition of positive performance, and in addressing any areas of concern.
- Work within the STL GB matrix organisation (Sales / Operations) and in partnership with the functions (such as Finance, HR, EH&S) across the region.
- OOH Escalation as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Essential:
- 5+ years of experience within the Security industry.
- Ideally, having previous experience leading a field-based team.
- Good technical knowledge.
- Good working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Thorough business understanding.
- Align to the overall strategic vision.
- Leadership and competency development skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of the customer needs in the region.
- Knowledge of appropriate national standards and regulations.
- Commercial Acumen.
