Job Title: SEND 1:1 Support - After School Club Playworker
Location: Twickenham Academy, 57 Colne Road, Twickenham. TW2 6QF
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £15 per hour (plus holiday pay)
Work Dates: Between Monday to Friday during Term Time

NB: Experienced & Qualified SEND is essential for this role.

1:1 SEN Activity Playworker
to join our ever growing family. This is a complex role which calls for the expertise of a confident and proactive individual with existing experience supporting children with SEN.
As an
1:1 SEN Activity Playworker
, you will....
- Support children within our Holiday Club
- Support children in all areas with sensory activities and games.
- Engage with children through play and sports.
- Supervise children in a safe and welcoming environment.
- Create an inclusive and fun atmosphere where possible.
- Experience in either teaching or supporting PMLD children (Profound and multiple learning difficulties.
- Ability to manage confrontation and challenging behaviors.
- Must have patience and be able to respond to a child's needs.
- Supervise children in a safe and welcoming environment.
* Experience for this role is a must have.

This role requires compliance with the
Keeping Children Safe in Education
policy and is exempt from the
Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974
. You must provide two references, one from your most recent employer and the other from a childcare setting (if applicable). We will conduct a DBS check on your behalf, so please prepare the correct documentation. You must meet these requirements to be eligible for the hiring process.
