Are you passionate about supporting autistic adults and individuals with learning disabilities to reach their full potential?

Autism Anglia, a well-established independent charity, is seeking a Positive Behaviour Practitioner to join our dedicated and compassionate team.

Using the clinical frameworks of PBS, this role will work within a multidisciplinary framework to provide behavioural and wellbeing services for adults with autism and other complex needs.

Full-time: 37 hours per week

About The Role

  • Conduct and contribute to Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) assessments, including functional analyses, quality of life, and person-centred planning.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate PBS interventions based on current best practice and national guidance.
  • Analyse behavioural data and outcomes to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver PBS training and workshops internally and externally; contribute to the development of new training materials.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external professionals to promote positive outcomes.
  • Support the development and monitoring of organisational policies, procedures, and record-keeping systems.
  • Stay up to date with developments in PBS through supervision, appraisal, and ongoing professional development.
  • Promote Autism Anglia's values, safeguarding principles, and commitment to equality, inclusion, and best practice in all areas of work.

We Welcome Applications From Individuals Who

  • Qualified to degree level (or equivalent) OR can demonstrate significant experience and knowledge of PBS within a relevant setting
  • Qualified to instructor level in delivering training in restrictive physical interventions/Ability to formulate, train staff in and implement PBS interventions
  • Practical experience of working with people who have autism and/or learning disabilities
  • Experience and knowledge of conducting a wide range of assessments relating to PBS implementing behaviour support strategies
  • Full clean UK Driving License and access to their own vehicle
