Social Media Assistant & Experience Host

Tension Twisted Realities is a small, family-run business offering immersive Escape Rooms, cutting-edge Virtual Reality, and high-tech Racing Simulators. We're a close-knit team, and every role here genuinely matters. With over 100 VR experiences, thrilling escape room adventures, and an 8-sim racing arena, we pride ourselves on giving guests unforgettable experiences.

We are now looking for a creative, confident, and outgoing Social Media Assistant who can also take on exciting hosting duties across all attractions.

Flexibility is essential, and applicants must be generally available during the Christmas and Summer periods.

Social Media Assistant Responsibilities

  • Create fun, engaging video and photo content that reflects our energetic brand.
  • Work alongside our team to develop social campaigns and ideas.
  • Interact with followers, reply to messages, and boost engagement.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends in social media and apply them creatively.

VR Host Duties

  • Set up and run VR games and experiences.
  • Ensure every customer in group bookings gets fair and enjoyable playtime.
  • Guide beginners through their first VR experience in a friendly, confident manner.
  • Maintain a fun, safe, and supportive atmosphere for all guests.

Escape Room Host Duties

  • Deliver immersive escape room experiences with personality and energy.
  • Monitor player progress, give clues when needed, and maintain the storyline.
  • Reset rooms accurately and efficiently between groups.
  • Ensure players feel welcomed, excited, and supported throughout their experience.

Racing Sim Host Duties

  • Provide guests with safety briefings and instructions.
  • Assist drivers during their race sessions and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Ensure smooth, enjoyable play for beginners and seasoned racers alike.

Requirements

  • Must be 18+ (due to serving behind the bar).
  • Confident, outgoing, and comfortable speaking with groups.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • A good understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook).
  • Organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work short or long shifts (2–10 hours).
  • Sometimes available at short notice.
  • Happy to help with general housekeeping (basic cleaning).
  • Experience is helpful, but full training is provided — personality matters most
