  • This role offers hybrid working, allowing you to work either from home or from one of our offices

What will I be doing?

We're working to maintain the authority's corporate property estate keeping buildings compliant and safe condition for our customers and end/service users here in Somerset – and you'll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve:

  • Being part of a helpdesk team supporting highly qualified and experienced Engineers/Tradespersons
  • Liaising with subcontractors and key stakeholders
  • Managing reactive and planned maintenance activities

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you:

  • Previous experience working in a Facility Management (Hard FM) admin role using CAFM systems
  • Strong organisation & communication skills
  • Good understanding of IT systems and software such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams etc.)
