Your Role

As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll play a key role in leading and inspiring the care team to deliver person-centred, dignified care every day.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting residents with daily living, independence and wellbeing
  • Leading by example and mentoring care staff
  • Administering and recording medications safely
  • Supporting communication between families, staff and health professionals
  • Promoting a positive, inclusive, and caring culture across the home
  • This is a hands-on role where compassion meets leadership — where you'll make a real difference to both residents and the team around you.

About You

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards it)
  • Experience in residential or dementia care
  • Confident in medication administration and leadership duties
  • Passionate about person-centred care and supporting others to deliver it
  • A team player with empathy, patience, and a sense of humour
