The Buyer / Planner role within the Procurement & Supply Chain department requires expertise in managing purchasing and planning processes for an industrial / manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient coordination of materials and resources to meet production demands in Bromborough.

Description

  • Manage procurement and planning activities to support production operations effectively.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and optimise stock levels.
  • Utilise Navision (preferred), SAP, or Oracle systems for efficient planning and purchasing processes.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with production schedules.
  • Prepare and analyse reports to improve procurement and planning efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Profile

A successful Buyer / Planner should have:

  • Experience in procurement and supply chain within the industrial / manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in using Navision (preferred), SAP, or Oracle systems.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
  • Analytical skills to assess and improve procurement processes.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
