Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Preparation Worker to join our prep team. In this role, you will assist in the preparation of vegetables, ensuring that all food safety standards are met while contributing to a positive kitchen environment. Your attention to detail will help us deliver high-quality products to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of vegetables for production, including washing, chopping, and measuring.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the preparation area, including proper storage of food items.

  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and hygiene practices to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other staff to facilitate smooth preparation .
  • Help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations as required.

Experience

  • Previous experience in production environment is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques is advantageous.
  • Understanding of food safety standards and practices is highly desirable.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work as part of a team are essential qualities for success in this role.

Hours are Monday to Friday with an 8am start

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.50 per hour
