We're hiring a full-stack engineer to join our product team, building the platform that connects engineers with opportunities.
About the Role As a Full-Stack Engineer at Dex, you'll own features end-to-end across our web application. You'll work with a modern stack - React and on the frontend, FastAPI and Postgres on the backend, all running on GCP.
Your focus will be on delivering high-quality product experiences that delight both candidates and companies, across the following areas:Product features: Building and shipping new features across the full stack - from user interfaces to backend APIs and database design.User experience: Creating intuitive, performant, and accessible interfaces that users love, with a focus on stability and polish.Platform reliability: Ensuring our application is robust, secure, and scalable as we grow.Data & analytics: Building systems to track user behaviour, measure product success, and surface insights to the team.
In this role you will:Design and build full-stack features from conception to deploymentBe a key owner of the user experience across our web application, working closely with designBuild robust, well-tested APIs and frontend componentsCollaborate with product and design to define feature requirements and technical approachContribute to our technical architecture and help shape engineering best practicesWork iteratively, shipping frequently and learning from user feedback
