COVER STAFF - LEAD TEACHING ASSISTANT

Salary: Band 5 (£26,473 to £28,239 FTE) Permanent

Contract/Hours: 37 hrs per week, term time only

Start date: ASAP

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated teaching assistant looking to develop themselves as a member of our cover team.  You will be releasing teachers and teaching whole classes across the primary school. 

You will:

  • have experience of working in a school as a teaching assistant and have some experience of covering classes
  • have very high expectations about what children can achieve 
  • have a calm, positive approach and be resilient and flexible
  • have a qualification in English and maths – GCSE grade C or higher (or equivalent)
  • embrace our ethos of our 'STAR' values
