About The Venue
At the heart of the Island Quarter is Cleaver and Wake, our flagship fine dining restaurant.

Cleaver and Wake offers a relaxed yet elegant dining experience without traditional white tablecloths or formal silver service, creating an atmosphere where guests can come not just for special occasions but to enjoy premium food in a comfortable setting

Cleaver & Wake serves regularly changing lunch and dinner menus, and the venue also features an upstairs events space with panoramic city views, suitable for weddings, conferences, and private events for up to 200 guests.

Fine Dining Sous Chef - Cleaver and Wake

  • Contemporary British fine dining at the Island Quarter
  • Up to £45K per annum, depending on experience

We are looking for an eager and enthusiastic Senior Sous Chef to join our talented team.
Calling all talented Sous Chefs in the world of fine dining and elevated cuisine We are looking for a passionate individual to join our dynamic team, assisting our wonderful Head Chef in running a fast-paced and bustling kitchen. As Senior Sous Chef, you'll have the opportunity to coach, mentor, and inspire our talented chefs. We're seeking a Sous Chef who not only encourages excellence but also sets a high standard, serving as an aspirational role model for the team.
