Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical knowledge and be able to perform repairs and maintenance on a range of vehicles, ideally with previous experience on Mercedes Benz vehicles.

Responsibilities

• perform diagnostics and repairs on vehicles, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards.
• Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as required for repairs.
• Utilise schematics to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues effectively.
• Conduct equipment repair and maintenance tasks, ensuring tools and machinery are in good working order.
• Working well as a team and independently.
• Ensure the garage is kept clean and tidy and all equipment maintained.

Experience

the successful candidate should have:

• Proven experience as an automotive technician or in a similar role within the industry (preferably experience with Mercedes Benz vehicles)
• Familiarity with automotive schematics and the ability to interpret them accurately.
• Punctual, polite and honest work ethic.
• A willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry advancements.
• The ability to carry out the highest standard workmanship from basic servicing to more involved and technical repairs.
• Confidence in carrying out electrical diagnostics and repairs .
