Senior Space/Store Planner:
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experience space/store planner to join our store planning team, working for one of our largest accounts producing store plans for a large UK supermarket, we cover off anything from new stores, to roll out projects, competitor impacts and small works, as well as much more. You will be a highly organised individual, used to working in constrained time scales, be someone who is able to adapt to changes and the client's needs. Teamwork within this department is key, due to deadlines and projects delivered on a large scale, communication is the power to successful delivery, as well as having a keen eye for detail and high quality standard across all work you deliver. Within this role you will have direct contact with the client, need to be able to understand and put into action the brief they provide you, along with communicating this internally with the team and working with your line manage to allocate resource and manage quality. You will oversee the completion of allocated work within the timeframe given and to the principles provided by the client while maintaining retail design solutions quality and standards.

Working on sites in various locations including high streets, shopping centres, retail parks, train stations, petrol stations, airports, and universities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Working as part of a team to deliver 2D store plans to client brief and principles, covering off new stores, small works, refurbishments, competitor impacts, roll out projects, concept stores and more across various sized stores.
· Manage a section of the workload, having direct contact and taking instruction from the client regarding brief, deadlines and principles. This must then be communicated and managed throughout various stages with your set resource within the team, and quality checked before delivering to the client.
· Working closely with your fellow seniors and line manage to organise workload and deadlines, to make sure the department is working effectively.
· Managing internal and external excel trackers.
· Have a keen eye for detail and quality control workload prior to submission to client.
· Following processes and specifications to meet client expectations and standards set.
· Thinking outside the box to be cost effective and get the best customer journey/experience for our client's supermarkets.
· Up skilling and coaching the team around you to continuously develop and push the team forward inline with overall company progression plan.
· Support on the personal development of your designated resource, working with your line manager to make sure training needs are being actioned accordingly.
· Attending weekly client calls regarding workload progress in line with their program dates.
· Attending site visits and meetings where required.
Team:
- Liaise with key internal management, Account Managers, Operations, Finance and Marketing to ensure effective client service is maintained.
- Building strong working relationships with our client and their internal team.
- Integrate into the wider team and play a pivotal role in motivating the team, and work with your line manager to manage resource, deadlines, and your team.
- Work closely with the account managers and operations to ensure the business is meeting client expectations and deadlines.
Skillset:

Proficient in AutoCAD
· Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
· Be able to use store space software- this is ideal but not essential.
· Proven established knowledge in space/store planning.
· Good communication skills.
· Highly organised.
· Can work well as part of a large team.
· Willing to coach and train the team around you.
· Confident individual.
· Good at problem solving
· Leadership skills.

Location and Hours:

Earls Colne, Essex- office based for 3 days a week, so must be within travelling distance.
· Monday- Thursday 8.30-5pm, Friday pm (39.5hrs a week)
