Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Home Manager to oversee the operations and care provided at our nursing home facility. The Home Manager will be responsible for managing the daily activities, ensuring high-quality care for our residents, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors in need of specialized care.

Qualifications: Successfull candidate shall Hold NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management, or equivalent qualifications.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the overall operations of the nursing home facility, including staff supervision, budgeting, and resource allocation

- Develop and implement care plans for residents, ensuring their individual needs are met

- Coordinate and oversee medication administration, in accordance with established protocols and regulations

- Conduct regular assessments of residents' health status and update care plans as needed

- Provide guidance and support to staff members in delivering exceptional care to residents

- Maintain accurate records of resident information, including medical history, medications, and treatments

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care for residents

- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure environment for residents and staff

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in senior care to continuously improve the quality of services provided

Skills:

- Previous experience in managing a nursing home or similar care facility is highly preferred

- Strong knowledge of senior care practices, regulations, and standards

- Proficient in medication administration and familiar with common medications used in senior care

- Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively oversee multiple tasks and responsibilities

- Ability to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs

- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to supervise and motivate a team of caregivers

- Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, staff members, and healthcare professionals
