Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dog Groomer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about animals, confident with all grooming techniques, and committed to providing safe, compassionate care.
Duties
- Perform all grooming services: bathing, brushing, haircuts, de-shedding, nail trimming/grinding, ear cleaning, and styling
- Safely handle dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Communicate professionally with clients about grooming requests and pet needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workspace
- Monitor pets for signs of stress or health concerns
- Follow salon safety protocols and uphold excellent customer service standards
Skills
- Minimum 1–2 years of professional grooming experience (not including personal or home grooming)
- Ability to groom 6–8 dogs per day depending on style and breed
- Knowledge of breed-specific cuts and standard grooming practices
- Strong animal-handling skills and patience
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Positive attitude and teamwork mindset
