Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Solar Installer to join our renewable energy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing solar photovoltaic (PV) systems across a variety of sites while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This position offers an excellent opportunity to support the growth of sustainable energy solutions while further developing your technical skills within the solar industry.

This role will involve a minimum of three jobs per week throughout the North Wales region, with payment ranging from £350–£500 per job. Work is offered on a self-employed, job-by-job basis, preferably operating under the CIS Scheme.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in solar installation is essential.
  • Strong proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction and electrical work.
  • Solid mechanical understanding, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Electrical experience or a background in renewable energy systems is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, often at height or on uneven terrain.
  • Good physical fitness, including the ability to lift heavy equipment safely and remain on your feet for extended periods.
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for travel to sites.
  • A strong commitment to safety protocols and maintaining high-quality standards at all stages of installation.
  • Must supply your own tools.
