Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Dewatering Operative based in Ipswich but will cover the whole of the UK. All aplicants must be living in England and already be elidgeable to work in the UK. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining dewatering systems, installing pumps, monitoring groundwater levels, and ensuring the proper functioning of equipment. The role also involves troubleshooting and carrying out routine maintenance on-site. The Dewatering Operative will work closely with the project team to ensure project timelines and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in operating dewatering systems and using related equipment
  • Skills in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic mechanical repairs
  • Experience in health and safety procedures and compliance with workplace safety regulations
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to adapt to varied working environments and conditions
  • A valid UK driving license is desirable
  • Relevant certifications or prior experience in similar roles is an advantage
