Days or Nights | Rolled-Up Holiday Pay | Ongoing Work

The Recruitment Crowd (TRC) is hiring experienced Class 1 Shunter Drivers (C+E) to join our client's busy yard operation in Warrington (WA5).

Shifts Available:
  •  Days or Nights.
  •  Flexible shift patterns across Monday to Sunday.
  •  Ongoing, regular work.

Pay Rates (Rolled-Up Holiday Pay Only):

Please note that from the 23rd of November till 20th of December there will be a £2 uplift on below rates.

Days:
  •  Monday to Thursday: £17.15
  •  Friday to Sunday: £21.65

Nights:
  •  Monday to Thursday: £18.40
  •  Friday to Sunday: £22.62

The Role:
  •  Shunting trailers safely around the yard.
  •  Precise reversing and manoeuvring in tight spaces.
  •  Vehicle safety checks (pre and post shift).
  •  Working closely with yard and dispatch teams.
  •  Adhering to all site safety policies.
  •  Light yard duties as required.

Requirements:
  •  Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
  •  Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  •  Maximum 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  •  Successful site assessment (theory and practical).
  •  Good knowledge of WTD legislation.
  •  Strong communication and a safety-first attitude.
