Job Summary

Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation and production.

  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.

  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency with established standards.
  • Implement cost control measures while maintaining quality in food production.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a Sous Chef role within a busy kitchen environment.
  • Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management and development.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
  • A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
