Summary

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Community Care York Ltd. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring that our clients receive the highest standard of care. This is a Bank position to cover holiday and sickness.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including , meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Prompt medication as prescribed and monitor client health.
  • Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and activities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Drive clients to appointments or assist with transportation needs as required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a support or caregiving role is not necessary
  • Strong understanding of assisted living and home care practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
  • Must be a driver
