Home Care Worker

Duties:
Travelling to service user homes providing "Personal Care"
Provide assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of mobility aids and equipment
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Document and report any changes in clients' condition to the appropriate supervisor
Requirements:
- Previous experience in domiciliary care essential
- Knowledge of dementia care, and experience working with individuals with cognitive impairments, ADHD, Autism, Learning Disability, Mental Health is a plus
- First aid certification is desirable
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately

Summary
As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will be essential in travelling to provide compassionate care and support to clients in their homes. Reporting to the Care Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, ensuring safety, and promoting overall well-being. Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
