Duties:

  • Travelling to service user homes providing "Personal Care"

  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

  • Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of mobility aids and equipment
  • Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Document and report any changes in clients' condition to the appropriate supervisor

Requirements:

- Previous experience in domiciliary care essential

- Knowledge of dementia care, and experience working with individuals with cognitive impairments, ADHD, Autism, Learning Disability, Mental Health is a plus

- First aid certification is desirable

- Compassionate and caring attitude towards clients

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately

Summary

As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will be essential in travelling to provide compassionate care and support to clients in their homes. Pay: From £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
