Scope of the Role:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll take the lead on end-to-end product development, solving complex technical challenges through precise design execution.

  • Develop robust, manufacturable mechanical designs for consumer products using SolidWorks.
  • Own CAD modelling, assemblies, and surface modelling to production-ready standards.
  • Collaborate closely with electronics, industrial design, and manufacturing teams.
  • Apply DFM and injection moulding expertise to ensure smooth tooling release.
  • Support prototype testing, iteration, and validation with high attention to detail.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or Design Engineer in consumer products.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on SolidWorks design (assemblies, surfacing, detailing).
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely aligned discipline.
  • Advanced knowledge of injection moulding and design for manufacture principles.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative environment with hybrid flexibility.
