.Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all.aspects of joinery. From roofs to finish joinery.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and joinery, with experience using hand tools and power tools, and demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate bespoke joinery components according to technical drawings and specifications
  • Assemble structures using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
  • Install wooden frameworks, flooring, roofing structures, and other carpentry elements on-site
  • Perform heavy lifting of materials safely to ensure efficient workflow
  • Conduct construction painting, finishing, and touch-ups as required
  • Assist with plumbing, masonry, or electrical tasks when necessary to support project completion
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment to uphold safety standards
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of projects while adhering to safety regulations

Requirements

  • Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, roofing, masonry or electrical work is preferred
  • Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, chisels; as well as power tools including drills and saws
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during construction activities
  • Knowledge of construction painting techniques and plumbing or electrical systems is advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Relevant qualifications or apprenticeships in carpentry or joinery are desirable but not essential
  • Physical fitness to undertake demanding manual tasks in various weather conditions
