This role is located at our Titchfield office. You will need to be located near the office base: Segensworth Road, Titchfield, Fareham, Hampshire, PO15 5RR.
As this post is based in our Titchfield (Fareham) office it requires a minimum of 40% office attendance on-site in line with within Service Support Hours (8am-5.30pm) operated on a rota basis.
The induction process for the role will be conducted in person.

The role will involve shadowing, observing, and learning various related M365 support skills whilst gaining experience for a Level 3 Apprenticeship.This is a two-year apprenticeship designed to support your professional development and help you to grow within this organisation.
The M365 support team action service calls relating to the use of Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook/Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Power platform and other M365 applications. You will be interacting with users across numerous communication channels both virtual and face to face.
The ideal candidate would have an interest in Microsoft applications, Power Platform and server operating systems.

- A passion for technology and a keen technical interest.
- Able to use own initiative.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively to deliver quality outputs in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate effectively with a range of customers.
- Contributes to challenging existing processes to continually improve.
*Standard Eligibility Criteria For Apprenticeships Apply:*
- You must not already hold a similar, other or same, qualification at Level 3 or above.
- You must be living in England.
- You must be at least 16 years old by 31st August 2025, and no longer be in full time education or plan to return to full time education in the next 12 months.
- You must have the legal right to live and work in the UK.
- You must not be taking part in any other employment or enterprise programmes funded directly by the UK Government.You must not be taking part in any other EU funded employment or enterprise programme or vocational learning programme
- You must not be supported by the UK Government's Work programme with a contract of employment for less than 16 hours per week.
- You must not be in receipt of an Assembly Learning Grant or Education Maintenance Allowance.
- Is not an ineligible overseas national.
- Is not in custody or on remand in custody
- While English and Maths qualifications are not required, having a good foundation in these subjects will be helpful for successfully completing the apprenticeship
- Please note that in order to complete the apprenticeship this post requires the person to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
- Please note the training provider makes the final decision on whether funding can be provided per person and the job offer will be made on the condition that funding is available.

Stage 1 – Application
The assessment process at the application stage will be based on your work history, skills, experience, CV, and personal statement. It is important that your application is tailored to highlight the skills, knowledge, and experience relevant to the role.
A personal statement is required at application stage, it will state the maximum word count allowed 1250 words, which should not be exceeded. Where it is a requirement to make a personal statement, you should provide evidence for each essential skill criterion listed in the person specification. As these criteria are scored, it is advisable to give clear examples for each one, including the impact of your actions, ideally utilising the STAR technique (Situation, Task, Action, Result).
Please note that Success Profiles Behaviour examples are not required at this stage of the application process.
In instances where a high number of applications are received, the sift pass mark may be adjusted, and candidates will be invited to interview based on merit order, i.e., those with the highest scores.

Stage 2 – Interview
If invited to interview, you will be assessed using techniques aligned with the Civil Service Success Profiles framework, covering all behaviours listed in the job advert and any required technical skills.
Interviews may be in person or via Microsoft Teams.
A reserve list may be held for a period up to 12 months from which further appointments may be made.
