Overview

At Seasons Rehabilitation Centre, we provide high-quality residential treatment and recovery support for individuals overcoming addiction. Our approach focuses on compassion, dignity, and holistic wellbeing — and mealtimes play a vital role in this journey. We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen team and ensure that nutritious, balanced, and comforting meals are prepared for our residents and staff each day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the kitchen and food service operations
  • Plan and deliver nutritious, varied menus that support recovery and wellbeing
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations (including HACCP and CQC standards)
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organisation, and stock control
  • Order and manage food supplies within budget
  • Supervise, train, and support kitchen staff and volunteers
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and support teams to accommodate dietary needs, allergies, and cultural preferences
  • Contribute to creating a calm, welcoming, and therapeutic environment during mealtimes

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager or Head Cook (preferably in a care, healthcare, or residential setting)
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene, COSHH, and allergen management
  • Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Empathy and respect for individuals in recovery
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays where required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.61-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
