Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to provide personalised academic support to students across various age groups and educational levels. The successful candidate will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment, helping students achieve their academic goals, and developing their confidence in specific subject areas. Responsibilities

  • Deliver one-on-one or group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
  • Develop customised lesson plans and learning materials to enhance understanding and engagement.
  • Assess students' progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Support students with homework, exam preparation, and study techniques.
  • Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment that promotes confidence and motivation.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, or school staff regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain organised records of tutoring sessions and student development.

Skills

  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching across various subjects.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Experience working with children or young learners is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of special education needs and inclusive teaching strategies is an advantage.
  • Organised, patient, and adaptable approach to meet diverse learning styles.
  • Ability to motivate students and build rapport quickly.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development in education practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

Pay: From £28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 15 per week
